Our operations are located in northern Finland, in the city of Oulu. Our core business is to provide construction companies and timber manufacturers with new sustainable and efficient chemicals for treatment of wood, thus enabling them even more extensive use of wood as a building material.

This way we favor strongly the shift from environmentally harmful materials towards sustainable, low carbon dioxide emission wood construction materials. We continuously develop new solutions for our customers, offering them also consultancy to fine tune their industrial processes to utilize the new products in a safe and cost-efficient way.

BDC-Technology Oy have know-how to prepare fire retardant chemicals which are front runner in providing ecological toxic-free wood treatment solutions for industrial customers (B-to-B market).

Our wood protecting chemicals are safe, ecological, effective and cost-effective. They are expected to revolutionize the wood preservative industry where market leaders still rely heavily on harmful toxic chemicals.

Our biodegradable product solutions are made of e.g. from wood and fiber industry side streams or waste (e.g. paper mill sludge  and/or fiber clay and/or from natural fibers). They are safe, ecological, effective and cost-effective.

Our products enable the industry to produce high-value end products and thus increase their competitiveness in the global markets. Ultimately, new products, which we are planning to develop should have the potential to increase the use of biodegradable products in industry worldwide. Existing products and new developed products can also be expanded into consumers markets (DIY markets), once industrial customers have adopted the technology.
